St Jude Childrens Research Hospital

Very soon, Froggy 98 will be on the air with our St. Jude Children's Research Hospital Radiothon. All of us at Froggy 98 have had a chance to visit the St. Jude facility in Memphis, to see the groundbreaking, lifesaving work of their dedicated researchers and doctors. Every year when we do the radiothon, there are some people who ask "Why should I donate to St. Jude when they're in Memphis?" What they don't realize is the treatments that are developed at St. Jude are used by hospitals all around the world...and that includes right here in Lincoln! They share their information and treatment research with EVERYONE, no strings attached. And if a local child needs to visit St. Jude Hospital for treatment, the family is never charged for a single thing, and that includes accomodations and travel. Every year we hear from local families that have taken their children to St.Jude Children's Research Hospital and they all praise the love, care and compassion given to them. So, this March 8-9, as you are listening to Froggy 98 during our St. Jude Radiothon, we ask that you think of what you can do to help out a child that is affected by cancer, and think of the children you hold dear.
