Bagel Bites.
You had them as a snack, great as drunk food in the middle of the night, or something to feed the kids. But do you really care at that point what their made of, other than that they are made with safe ingredients? (and if you are drunk, sometimes that doesn’t even matter)
Leave it to one person to ruin it for the rest of us.
A woman in Madison, Wisconsin is suing the makers of Bagel Bites for deceptive advertising.
Her problem, the company doesn’t use real tomato sauce or cheese….and they have a logo on the box that says they are using “real cheese”.
She claims the sauce should be tomato sauce, seasonings and thickeners, but it’s not made with those things.
Now, when it comes to cheese, I can kind of understand why someone from Wisconsin might get a little uptight. After all, she’s is one of the main revenue generators for the state. Almost 50% of the state makes money off of dairy products. In this case, this woman claims that the cheese on the pizza isn’t really cheese.
For good or for bad, this woman is not suing the company by herself, rather as a class action suit which means everyone who was ever purchased or eaten Bagel Bites will deserve a portion of the winnings… the we don’t know what financial dollar figure she is looking for. And with everyone who’s ever had bagel bites, good luck getting anything worthwhile other than a penny or 2.
