The Billboard Music Awards announced their nominations today and Gabby Barrett is the female artist with the most nominations including, Top New Artist, Top Country Artists, Top Country Female Artists, Top Country Album, Top Radio Song, and Top Country Song.
Morgan Wallen is nominated six times across five categories and will not be appearing at this year’s ceremony.
“Morgan Wallen is a finalist this year based on charting. As his recent conduct does not align with our core values, we will not be including him on the show in any capacity (performing, presenting, accepting),” dick clark productions said in a statement.
The 2021 Billboard Music Awards will air May 23 at 8 p.m. ET on NBC.
