A 20 year old Lincoln man was killed Saturday afternoon when his motorcycle collided with an SUV at 38th and Pine Lake Road. LPD Officer Erin Spilker says Garet Darnall was westbound on Pine Lake Road just before 4:00 p.m. when his motorcycle slammed into the back of the eastbound SUV that was attempting to turn onto 38th Street.
LPD officers did CPR until Lincoln Fire and Rescue arrived, but Darnall was pronounced dead at the scene. Spilker says speed is being investigated as a factor in the crash.
