On May 10th, officers saw a 2010 Chevy Malibu make an improper turn in the area of 8th and H Street around 9 p.m. An officer stopped the vehicle and spoke with the driver, 25 year old Brett Nunnery. There was a strong smell of marijuana coming from the car. The officer asked Nunnery to get out of the vehicle but he drove off, knocking the officer over. The officer stated Nunnery drove off in a reckless manner and the officer decided not to give chase due to dangerous conditions.

On June 2nd at 4:30 p.m., officers saw Nunnery sitting in the back seat of a black 2020 Kia Optima in the parking lot of the Super Saver at 27th and Cornhusker. 32 year old Michaela McKee was in the driver’s seat.
