The phrase that you own a cat, but you befriend befriend dog has now been scientifically proven to be true. We already know that we are greeted with great excitement when we return from work…or even a trip to the garage. We also see the joy when we use certain words to them.
In Britain, scientists studied over 4,000 dog owners and 60 dogs to figure out what words make them the most excited.
The findings, which was based on the canines heartbeat looked like this:
