McDonald’s Has No Milkshakes In Europe. Will It Happen Here?

As we know, McDonald’s consistently has a problem with their ice cream machines. You pull up, they tell them you want ice cream, the machine doesn’t work, we are disappointed, we laugh, we drive off.

Sometimes we decide we’re going to substitute our ice cream with a milkshake. Pretty easy, not quite the same, but pretty good.

However, what’s happening in England, Scotland and Wales has not happened in the United States… yet.

They are dealing with supply chain issues…something we are very similar to in the United States…. And it’s happening at McDonald’s here, as well.

In the United States McDonald’s has run into shortages for yogurt and various flavors of soft drinks, but in England they’re running out of drinks. Including milkshakes. At this point, they do not carry any bottled or canned drinks or milkshakes.

Wanna know what the cause is? The Rona. Yep because businesses and suppliers have had to close down across Europe… that means closed down completely as opposed to the United States where we did partial clothes down, comma England has been playing ketchup for months. Unfortunately unfortunately that is hitting the hearts and stomachs of many a McDonald’s customer in England.

But they are not alone, other chains like KFC are having problems receiving chicken…. I repeat, chicken. The very thing that keeps that business running is chicken.

We have our own issues with supplies, but the milkshake and chicken shortages and shortages at restaurants that could be tragic for many of us in the United States.
