Because I come from a long line of Texas Rednecks, let me be the first to tell you that doing the things we saw o on The Dukes of Hazzard was part of our life goals. To us, destroying a beater car was just something we didn’t think about…we just did it.
Then there was jumping our cars. We were lame. We would roll them, but jumping was just something we were too chicken to try. Then I saw these guys and I know why we didn’t.
As you will see, the car had plenty of speed, but the ramp…well, it was a bit too narrow, unless you hit it just right.
Thank God the driver was wearing his football helmet? As if that would protect what part of his brain was left.
