Sometimes you go out to eat and while the burger is good, or just OK, you can overlook the mediocre meat when you dig in to the side of fries. Those fries can make up for all that the rest of the meal lacks. Sometimes, some of us just for the fries and bypass the rest of the meal.
So…who do we seek out most for fries based on how people have ranked them? Uproxx came up with a list of the top 23 best fries from around the nation. For time purposes, we will only cover the Top 10. So here we go:
- Five Guys
- McDonald’s
- Rally’s/Checkers (since they are one in the same)
- Popeyes
- Wendy’s
- Arby’s (curly fries, not the crinkle cut…those are lower down the list at 23)
- Wienerschnitzel
- Farmer Boys
- Taco Bell (nacho fries)
- Chick Fil A (waffle fries)
While 3 of the Top 10 aren’t anywhere near where we live, I should point out that honorable mentions should go to a few places that ARE near us
- Raisin’ Canes (#12)
- Taco Bell (crinkle cut fries #16)
- KFC (secret recipe fries #18)
- Burger King (#19)
- Sonic (#20)
- Diary Queen (#22)
As you can see there are quite a few that we didn’t mention, but there are some pretty big names on this list, ranked much lower.
