This is a day of sadness and celebration when it comes to food.
The loss of Valentino’s buffet is a day of mourning that has rippled across Lincoln today. Everything from the traditional pizza to the fruit pizza and the memories; it is gone…forever.
However, there is a bright spot to the day…Lincoln is ranked in the Top 100 of cities for Foodies in the USA.
The new research study that looked at 182 cities across the USA determined how we ranked on the foodie chart by affordability, as well as diversity, accessibility and quality.
The Top 10 cities ranked like this:

- Orlando, FL
- Miami, FL
- San Francisco, CA
- Austin, TX
- Sacramento, CA
- Denver, CO
- Las Vegas, NV
- Seattle, WA
- Tampa, FL
While Omaha ranks at #41 and Des Moines at #51, sitting at #100 ain’t too bad.
