Lincoln Police are investigating “racially and hateful” themed graffiti found inside Dawes Middle School located at 51st and Colfax Avenue between February 16th and 17th.
LPD reports that staff and school resource officers found three different cases of words and symbols drawn in pencil in the hallways and bathrooms of the building. There are no suspects or motives at this time.
Lincoln Public Schools notified parents and families of the incident. LPS and Threat Assessment Investigators with LPD continue to investigate. Anyone with information is asked to contact Lincoln Police.
