Finally, the Nebraska volleyball schedule for this fall is out.
NU and the Big Ten Conference announced the 2023 slate Wednesday. Highlights for the Huskers include Volleyball Day in Nebraska against Omaha (Aug. 30) as well as non-conference games against Creighton (Sept. 6), at Stanford (Sept. 12), and versus Kentucky (Sept. 17).
Nebraska will also host Long Beach State—led by former Husker associate head coach Tyler Hildebrand.
In Big Ten play, NU will play home-and-homes with Michigan, Michigan State, Minnesota, Northwestern, Penn State, Rutgers and Wisconsin. The home-only opponents are Illinois, Maryland and Ohio State while the road-only games are at Indiana, Iowa and Purdue.
The season begins Aug. 25-27 with Nebraska hosting Utah State, Lipscomb and SMU in a tournament at the Bob Devaney Sports Center.
