The Lincoln Children’s Zoo is gearing up for it’s most spook-tacular event of the year. Boo at the Zoo, Lincoln’s largest tick-or-treat event will be held October 26-30. The event will feature booths from local businesses that where families can stop and get candy, coupons and other items.
Zoo officials say there is something new this year. Daytime hours have been added on Sunday, Oct. 29th. All tickets must be purchased in advance for both members and non-members. No tickets will be available at the front gates during the event.
In preparation for Boo at the Zoo there will be some changes to hours and operating procedures starting next week. The historic portion of the Zoo, which includes everything past the train depot, will be closed to day guests from Oct. 23 – Nov. 1. The Zoo will close at 3pm on Oct. 26, 27, 28, & 30 and it will be closed to day guests on Oct. 29.
