How many times have you been cleaning and stumble across something you had been missing for years. You feel so much better that the special something is back in your life. Well, imagine that you were doing some COVID-time cleaning and find a secret hiding place, you open that hiding place only to find 5 cans of Hamm’s beer and packages of Godzilla gum.
That is exactly what happened in a Walla Walla, WA library. Hard to believe, sure, but as most of us do, they posted their findings on Facebook.
Some of us would keep these items for posterity. You would think the library would keep these items to see if they could find it’s rightful owner, but no/ According to the library:
“After chewing on the question for a while, library staff decided to transfer them to another City facility. The abandoned relics now reside in the Sudbury Landfill. It’s probably not the outcome the trove owner expected; unfortunately, not every story has a happy ending.”
No one even checked to see if they beer was still good. The gum…well…we’re just assume that it was petrified by now.
