The Nebraska Department of Labor reports unemployment numbers continue to decline.
New unemployment regular claims totaled 1,265 for the week ending June 5th, down 206 from the week ending May 29th. There were 2 new Pandemic Unemployment Assistance claims compared to 4 last week.
There were 7,240 continued unemployment claims, down 104 from the week before. Continued Pandemic Unemployment Assistance claims totaled 2,380, down three from May 29th. Pandemic assistance end on June 19th.
The Department paid $8.2 million in benefits for the week ending June 5th, $4.5 million less than the week before.
