Two teenage boys were arrested after Lincoln Police say they burglarized a home. Around 1:00 Wednesday afternoon officers got a call from someone who reported seeing two males wearing masks with bats in their hands near 44th and M.

When officers arrived they saw two teenagers walking back to a vehicle with bats in their hands.  The officer detained the 17-year-old and 16-year-old males and found that one of them was holding a rifle scope.  As officers checked the area, they found the back patio door to a residence had been shattered.

The resident told police that the rifle scope, gift cards and night vison binoculars had been stolen from the home.  The total value of stolen items was $300.  Officers were able to recover all the stolen property.

The 17-year-old and 16-year-old were arrested for Burglary and turned over to the Youth Services Center.  The estimated damage to the residence is $250.
