The day after…

(here’s the intro from the ACMs)

Last night was “Country Music’s Party of the Year,” the 57th Academy of Country Music Awards at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas,  hosted by the legendary Dolly Parton and ACM new artists Jimmie Allen and Gabby Barrett and Voice Announced by…well little old me.

Of course before the show, the practices and dress rehearsals. The big question, who did you meet? Sadly, I didn’t BUT I got to see things that only those behind the scenes get to and that was pretty darn cool.

For instance, watching Kelly Clarkson practice her rendition of “I Will Always Love You,” which she performed flawlessly. Also watching her fan-girl like any of us would, when Dolly comes on stage.

Also, watching Walker Hayes crack jokes and just have a good time, making everyone smile.

Breland is who I think I enjoyed the most, he was living his best life and it showed. His joy was infectious both at rehearsal and during the live show.

I also have to admit it was fun knowing about the surprise performances, kinda felt like I was in the cool kids club😂😂

To top all of that off, being a part of this history making show feels, well it’s kind of undescribable. In reality I don’t think it’s fully hit me yet. It’s all been a bit surreal and almost like I’ve been watching it happen to someone else. I am so amazed that I was chosen to be a part of this experience and the funniest part is when I walked out of my booth I realized that all of the celeb trailers had been sitting next to me the entire time!!!😂😂
