Waverly Nursing Home Evacuated Due to Water Break

First Responders from several area agencies have responded to The Mulberry nursing home in Waverly as an initial fire alarm about 5:45 am turned out to be a water flow alarm. Initial reports indicate a ceiling collapsed over a nursing station.

Mutual Aid requests to area agencies were asking for help in relocating nearly 4 dozen patients.

In addition to Waverly first responders, Raymond, Hickman, Greenwood, Southeast and Southwest have been asked to assist.
