LFR crews battled a fire at fire at Prestige Auto Sales near 10th and West Cornhusker around 8:30 Thursday morning. Public Information Officer MJ Lierman says there were heavy flames coming from the building when firefighters arrived.
Public Information Officer MJ Lierman says an employee using a saw accidentally cut a fuel line which produced a spark that ignited the fuel. All of the employees made it out safely. She says the fire spread from the garage to the roof of the building. She tells KLIN News the rubber lining below the roof made it difficult to fight the fire.
The amount of damage is not yet known.
