A man has been arrested after police say he took off in a stolen Hog Wild Bar-B-Que van around 8:00 last Friday morning. LPD Public Information officer Erika Thomas says the white business van was stolen from the parking lot at 32nd and Cornhusker Highway overnight Thursday.
“The Sioux City Police Department contacted LPD to share they had found the van after a vehicle chase.” 51-year-old Dennis Hoffman was taken into custody. “We appreciate the collaboration with law enforcement in other jurisdictions to arrest Hoffman,” Thomas says.
He was booked into the Woodbury County Jail for theft of a motor vehicle, possession of methamphetamine and other charges.
