Lincoln Police say a motorcycle rider was critically injured in a crash near 84th and Havelock Friday night. LPD says the preliminary investigation revealed the motorcycle was NB on 84 Street near the Sandhills Global Event Center at speeds in excess of the posted speed limit.
Investigators say the 42-year-0ld rider lost control of his motorcycle in the roadway and was thrown from the bike. No other vehicles were involved in the crash.
The rider was transported to the hospital with injuries that are considered life-threatening. The investigation is on-going.
