For the third time this season, Nebraska guard Braden Frager earned Big Ten Freshman of the Week. Frager scored 43 points combined in Cornhuskers wins over Oregon and Northwestern. Frager’s three Freshman of the Week honors are the most by an NU first-year player since Bryce McGowans won the honor eight times in 2021-22.
Frager had a career high 23 points against Oregon while tying a freshman school record with seven three-pointers against the Ducks. Then at Northwestern Saturday, Frager scored 20 points on 8-for-14 shooting as the Huskers cruised to the victory.
No. 7 Nebraska looks to move to 19-0 Wednesday night as the Huskers host Washington. Pregame coverage begins at 7 p.m., with tipoff at 8 p.m. on KLIN.
