Lincoln Police were sent to the area of 9th and ‘O’ Street around 12:30 Saturday morning to investigate a weapons violation in progress. The caller told dispatchers a group of friends
were walking when 21-year-old Nathan Rash of Lincoln pulled out a handgun, began following them and pointing the gun at them,” says LPD Public Information Manager Erika Thomas.
She says officers contacted Rash near 8th and ‘O’ streets where they detained him. “They found a loaded Glock 43 handgun in his possession and he was also determined to be
intoxicated.”
Rash was arrested and taken to the Lancaster County Jail where he was booked for terroristic threats, use of a deadly weapon to commit a felony and carrying a concealed weapon while under the influence.
