Data from the Nebraska Department of Transportation show 10 fatal crashes in April killed 11 people. There were no deaths on the Interstate System.
9 of the fatalities were in rural locations, and 1 was a motorcyclist. 3 people killed were not using seatbelts, 5 were using seatbelts, and 2 had ‘unknown’ marked on the crash reports.
Through April, 65 people have died in crashes compared to 68 in 2025.
