Lincoln residents will soon learn the finalists for the 2026 One Book One Lincoln program. Lincoln City Libraries will announce the top three titles at 10:30 Monday morning during the annual “One Book One Lincoln Top Three at the Mill” event.
The Memorial Day event, hosted by the Foundation for Lincoln City Libraries, runs from 9:30 until 11:30 a.m. at The Mill Coffee and Tea near 21st and O Streets. Visitors will also get a chance to tour one of the library system’s two new bookmobiles.
Copies of the finalist books will be available for checkout at the event, and community members are encouraged to vote for the title they want featured in the 2026 citywide reading program. Voting continues through August 31st.
Ballots and book reservations are available through the Lincoln City Libraries website. The selected books will be offered in print, ebook and downloadable audio formats. One Book One Lincoln has been bringing readers together across Lincoln and Lancaster County since 2002 through a shared community reading experience.
