Lincoln Police are searching for suspects after an 18-year-old man was assaulted and robbed early Monday morning. LPD Public Information Manager Erika Thomas says officers were called to the area 25th and ‘O’ Streets just after midnight.
“The victim reported three men approached him in a parking lot and attacked him, punching and knocking him unconscious,” Thomas says. “He regained consciousness but was knocked unconscious again.”
Thomas says when he woke up, his glasses and Nike Air Max shoes had been taken. “He had multiple injuries to his face and pain all over his body.” The investigation is ongoing and anyone with information on the identities or whereabouts of those responsible is asked to call Lincoln Police at 402-441-6000.
