Nebraska pitcher Jordy Frahm announced that she is about three months pregnant on social media Monday. Frahm earned National Player of the Year honors from USA Softball and the National Fastpitch Coaches Association after leading the Cornhuskers to the Women’s College World Series, pitching to a 21-6 record with a school record 12 saves and a 1.37 ERA. Frahm struck out 251 batters in 189.2 innings pitched. She was also Nebraska’s leading hitter, hitting to a. 403 average with 20 home runs and 51 RBI. With her home run in her final game as a Husker Sunday against Texas, Frahm became the first player in college softball history to hit 20 home runs and win 20 games as a pitcher in the same season multiple times in her career.

Frahm married former Nebraska pitcher Trey Frahm last August in a ceremony in Omaha. In her social media post, Frahm said that her child is expected to arrive in December 2026.
