Nebraska softball coach Rhonda Revelle received a one-year contract extension, while Diane Miller and Mandie Nocita received promotions. Revelle is now under contract through 2031. Revelle was named 2026 Big Ten Coach of the Year and guided the Cornhuskers to a 52-18 record and a trip to the Women’s College World Series. Revelle is the winningest coach in Nebraska Athletics history, with a career record of 1222-688 (.640). In her 34 years as Husker head coach, Revelle has guided Nebraska to 25 NCAA Regionals and four Women’s College World Series.
Revelle, who has called pitches for the Huskers’ pitchers throughout her career, will increase her role with Nebraska’s pitchers after the retirement of associate head coach and pitching coach Lori Sippel. Hitting coach Diane Miller has been promoted to associate head coach with Sippel’s retirement, as well. Miller has been on the NU staff for 18 years and part of the 2026 Midwest Coaching Staff of the Year.
In addition, Mandie Nocita has been promoted to assistant coach. Nocita has worked as director of video technology, analytics, and player development for the Huskers the past four years and will retain those responsibilities while also taking on more assistant coaching duties. Before coming to Lincoln, Nocita had been head coach at Buena Vista for eight years, earning a 148-130 career record.
Olivia Ferrell remains on the staff as an assistant coach for her fourth season. She joined the NU staff immediately after finishing her playing career in 2022. She’ll be joined by Jordy Frahm, who was announced as a Husker assistant the week after her playing career concluded. Hannah Coor and Hannah Camenzind will assistant as graduate assistants, while Lauren Camenzind will work as a graduate manager.
