Lincoln’s Woods Neighborhood Pool will temporarily close to accommodate a swim meet this weekend. The Lincoln Parks and Recreation Department says the pool at 33rd and J will close at 3:00 p.m. Thursday and remain closed through Sunday.
The adjacent Woods Spray Park will stay open to the public during the swim meet. The city’s outdoor pool season continues through Aug. 9, with regular operating hours from 1 to 6 p.m. daily at the remaining city pools, including Arnold Heights, Ballard, Belmont, Eden, Irvingdale, Highlands Aquatic Center, University Place Aquatic Center and Star City Shores.
Daily admission is free for children age 2 and younger. Youth ages 3 to 17 pay $4.50 with a paying adult. Adult admission is $5.75, while seniors age 62 and older pay $5.50. The city’s free sprayground at Trago Park, located at North 22nd and U streets, remains open daily from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. through Labor Day.
