Lincoln Crime Stoppers is asking for the public’s help identifying two people connected to separate incidents in Lincoln. The first case involves a wallet reported missing at the Casey’s near 27th and Folkways. LPD’s Becky Keller says a gas station employee was on break on May 27 when he unknowingly dropped his wallet.
“He didn’t notice it was missing until he got home and it wasn’t in his pocket,” Keller says. “He went back to work and reviewed video footage and located this man on camera picking up his wallet and not turning it into staff.”
The man arrived in an older white Honda CRV.
The second case involves a hit-and-run reported July 12th near Northwest 6th and West Fletcher. “The caller said an Amazon delivery driver’s vehicle hit their parked car and then drove off,” Keller says. “Video from the neighborhood showed the Amazon delivery person arriving, jumping out of his white Toyota Camry, and then the vehicle can be seen rolling into a nearby parked car as he makes the delivery.” Keller says.
He is then seen jumping into the vehicle and taking off in a hurry. “We are working with Amazon to try to get this driver identified, but in the meantime if anybody has any information on who this person might be, we have a tip line open and ready for this case.” You can view the video below.
