For the second straight week, Nebraska middle blocker Andi Jackson was named Big Ten Player of the Week, as announced by the conference office Monday. Jackson joins Madi Kubik in 2021 (Oct. 11 and 18) and Kelsey Robinson in 2013 (Nov. 4, 11 and 18) to be named Big Ten Player of the Week in consecutive weeks.

Jackson led the Cornhuskers to a pair of road conference sweeps. She averaged 3.83 kills per set and 2.00 blocks per set, one of only two players nationally to do so last week. She had 23 kills on 38 swings for a .526 hitting percentage, while also tallying 12 blocks defensively. Jackson had a season high seven blocks at No. 16 Penn State Thursday, then tied a school record for aces in a match in the rally scoring era with six Saturday at Maryland. She matched Annika Albrecht (2015), Michelle Lynch (2004) and Anna Schrad (2002).

Nebraska now prepares to play at Indiana Thursday at 5:30 p.m. Pregame coverage begins at 4:30 p.m. on KLIN and B-107.3.
