You’re invited to Morrill Hall to celebrate ARCHIE’S PARTY!
Help the University of Nebraska State Museum wrap up their 150th Anniversary Year with a big birthday party for Archie, your favorite mammoth! All the fun kicks off at 9:00am on Saturday, June 18th at Morrill Hall on the University of Nebraska-Lincoln campus.
Entrance to the party is included with your museum admission! The whole museum will play host to a variety of activities and crafts, all included with your admission! Make a fun elephant mask, color your own Flat Archie to take on adventures this summer, visit with museum paleontologists as they work on rhino jaw fossils, join UNL’s Kawasaki Reading Room to learn about Japanese Tea Tasting or decorate a traditional fan, and more! Bring a “birthday gift” for Archie and be entered into a raffle for prizes such as museum memberships, plush sets, UNSM swag, and more. Archie will be donating all his presents to People’s City Mission this year. Suggested birthday wishlist items include sunblock, bubbles, chalk, diapers, new pillows, towels, washcloths, or t-shirts (any sizes). Your donation will help People’s City Mission families jump into summer!
