A burglary alarm sent Lincoln Police to the Casey’s at 2243 N Cotner Blvd just after 3 a.m. Wednesday morning.
Officers saw the front glass doors had been shattered with a piece of concrete. They entered the business but no one was inside.
An employee arrived and the store security video was viewed. It showed a person breaking the front door and taking a case of Crown Royal whiskey. The suspect appears to be a male and was wearing a hooded sweatshirt. He then takes off from the area on foot.
A full bottle of whiskey was found nearby.
The damage to the store is estimated at $200 and the loss of merchandise at $64.98. The search for the suspect continues.
