The Lincoln Airport was evacuated around 9:45 this morning after a suspicious package was detected by TSA during the normal bag screening. Director of Communications Rachel Barth tells KLIN News as a precaution they evacuated the terminal.

Around noon airport officials said it was determined by the bomb squad the suspicious package was not a threat. Passengers were allowed back in the terminal and flights resumed, but delays were expected.
