You may have seen the garage door ad with Alan Ruck, reprising his part as Cameron, from the movie FerrisBuelle’d Day Off. In the ad Cameron is watching his son and his impulsive friend think about taking Dad’s (Cameron’s) Ferrari, only to spoil the whole thing by technology…and a it of “been there, done that”.
This is sounding less and less like a parody of the original scenario from.the movie Ferris Bueller’s Day Off, but the set up for what comes next.
Entertainment Weekly is reporting that the man who played Cameron (Alan Ruck) is looking at rebooting Ferris Bueller as an old man in a nursing home.
Alan Ruck has the whole idea in his head right now, but would like to take it a reality.
Only time will tell.
