The first road test for Nebraska men’s basketball will give fans a better idea of where this team stands.
The 2-0 Huskers are at 3-0 St. John’s for the Gavitt Tipoff Games at 5:30 p.m. CDT tonight in Queens, New York. The two teams have only met one other time, a 79-56 Red Storm win in the 2017 Gavitt Tipoff Games.
Nebraska is coming off a 75-61 win over Omaha. The Huskers started hot and held off a Mav’s run to stay unbeaten.
St. John’s has wins over Merrimack, Lafayette, and Central Connecticut State. The Red Storm is averaging 90.3 points a game.
Tonight’s game will be televised nationally on FS1 with Tim Brando and Donny Marshall on the call. The game will also be available on the Fox Sports App.
