The Capital Humane Society has opened online registration for their Tails N Trails Pet Festival on May 21 at Glacial Till Winery in Palmyra. Executive Director Matt Madcharo says there will be a pet walk, live band, activities for dogs and kids and a number of pet vendors.
“Folks can come out and meet with them or rescue groups. We have a lot of rescue groups that come out too that have dogs up for adoption and want to show them off.
Madcharo says the event is a major fundraiser that allows them to care for the pets in their shelter. Early registration runs through the end of March.
