A Lincoln man has announced his bid for the City Council District 2 seat. Peter Katt launched his campaign on Friday. The seat will be vacated by Richard Meginnis, who previously announced he will not seek re-election.
“I’m excited to work to earn the trust of the voters in my district and look forward to putting my experience to work to be the voice of the people in Southeast Lincoln.” Katt says. “My focus will be keeping Lincoln affordable for our families, lowering taxes, growing opportunities and keeping our
community safe.”
Katt is a founding member of an investment company, a principal in several residential land development companies and a partner in several home building companies. he served on the Lincoln School Board from 2019-2021.
