Lincoln Police arrested a 26 year old man after finding drugs, guns and hundreds of rounds of ammunition inside a west Lincoln home. Sergeant Chris Vollmer Police say they were looking for a suspect in northwest Lincoln on Thursday around 9 a.m.
“Officers saw the man enter his home but he did not exit when he was confronted by them. When members of the Fugitive Task Force entered the home but couldn’t find the suspect.” Vollmer says they did find Jazire Moore, who is associated with the man they were looking for.
After obtaining a search warrant investigators found 849g Marijuana, 53 THC vape Cartridges, 737 rounds of ammunition, 3.5g of suspected cocaine and nearly $2,000 in cash.
Also discovered were a 9mm handgun that was stolen in Omaha, a .22 caliber handgun that was stolen in Lincoln and a Diamondback .380 handgun. Moore was booked into Lancaster County jail for tampering with physical evidence, possession of a controlled substance with the intent to deliver and possession of a firearm during a drug violation.
