Summer of Fun – Super Fair 2023

Froggy98 wants you to have a SUMMER OF FUN!

It’s your Lancaster County Super Fair — let the good times grow and bring your friends and family out to enjoy the largest community event of the summer!

The 2023 Lancaster County Super Fair is August 3rd through August 12th, and free fair gate tickets are available NOW at 41 fair sponsor locations in Lancaster County. From free family shows to agricultural experiences, to thrilling motorsports, to carnival rides, to live music, the Super Fair has plenty of fun for at least 2 visits!

Super Fair Gate Admission tickets are FREE at U-Stop Shops, Russ’s Market, Super Saver and West Gate Bank locations across Lancaster County now through August 12 while supplies last. Otherwise, entry to the fair is $3 per person per day and parking is $5 per vehicle per day.

The fair features more family friendly hours with all events starting earlier and ending by 10:00PM all 10 days, including the Carnival and Pepsi Free Music Series.

GRANDSTAND

• Figure 8 Races, sponsored by Gana Trucking & Excavating, Inc., will kick off Super Fair’s Motor Mania series on Friday, August 3rd with an evening of dirt-flying, car-crashing, fast-paced fun!
• Don’t miss the Demolition Derby, where competitors ram and jam their way into victory. Come on out Saturday, August 4th. Who will be the last car rolling at this annual sell-out event?
• NEW Garden Tractor Pulling will be here on Saturday, August 5th! It’s not your average tractor pull; it’s a full-blown battle to see who has the biggest, baddest machine from the Midwest! Stay until the end of the show for a FREE driver meet & greet!
• Hold on tight! The NEW Extreme Bull Riding Tour on Friday, August 11th will have you on the edge of your seat watching these bucking bulls and top pro riders from 7 different states go head-to-head to see who comes out on top!
• The NEW Tough Trucks and Cars will end the second week on Saturday, August 12th, where these souped-up trucks and cars will navigate obstacles in a competition to see who’s the toughest on the track!

All Grandstand events are held at the shaded Grandstand Outdoor Arena located at 84th Street & Havelock Avenue on the Lancaster Event Center fairgrounds—enter using Gate 3 off Havelock Avenue. Both limited reserved and general admission tickets for Grandstand events are on sale now! Save $5 by purchasing tickets by midnight the night before the event.

CARNIVAL

The fun doesn’t stop there. The Heart of America Midway Carnival returns for all 10 days of the Super Fair! Save $5 on WEEKDAY wristbands and time in line by purchasing your All-You-Can-Ride wristbands online at SuperFair.org

PEPSI FREE MUSIC & ENTERTAINMENT SERIES

• Catch 6 nights of music on Aug 3-6 and Aug 11-12! Headlining is AM/FM with 80’s Dance/Rock/Pop music and the Lucas Minor band with country rock! Enjoy refreshing drinks from the beer garden and delicious fair food from nearby vendors.
• Back by popular demand is the Hispanic Cultural Festival, organized by Club Rio Entertainment and sponsored by Allo, featuring folkloric dances and live music on Sunday, August 6th from 3-8pm.

FREE AGRICULTURE & EDUCATIONAL FAMILY EXPERIENCES

For the first 4 days only, get an up-close look at over 5,000 4-H/FFA livestock animals and static exhibits from horticulture and foods to robotics, photography, and fashion. The Family Fun Zone in the Multi-Purpose Arena features a variety of educational and family activities highlighted by:

• Strategic Air Command Museum & STEM Encounter – SAC & Aerospace Museum
• Honey making & Beekeeping Demo – Lancaster Co Commissioner Roma Amundson
• Train Display – Lincoln Area Railway Historical Society

During ALL 10 DAYS see exotic animals at the NEW Horn T Petting Zoo and visit the NEW Live Shark Encounter—the ONLY traveling shark show in the United States!
