I don’t know why, but even a year later in the world of Zoom conferences and meetings, the whole idea of Zoom fails still makes me giggle. They never get boring and its always something different… unless there someone naked walking through a meeting in progress… Not that it is ever happened in our building, of course. (I mean, that would make news wouldn’t it?)
Regardless of the industry, these “fails” seems to keep popping up. We’ve had a priest who looked like a space alien we’ve had people running through in states of undress… you get it… we’ve talked about it enough…
However, the cat filter is something I had no idea you could do with Zoom. I am guessing the lawyer in Texas who experienced this “fail” didn’t either.
During a deposition Judge Roy Ferguson saw that lawyer, Rod Ponton looked kind of odd on his camera. The judge pointed out that Rod had the cat filter turned on. Unfortunately, for Rod he had to call in assistance to help turn it off. But while he was waiting he made sure to let the court know
“I’m here live, I’m not a cat.”
Good to know that Rod was able to clear that up.
Unfortunately for Rod, since the court records all of its videos and they are made open to the public, this video began to go viral. I am sure no one in the courtroom or on the video decided to share it with the world… he said sarcastically
