Video games have been a part of our lives forbat least for the last 30 to 40 years. But the pandemic has created a new dependence on video games…for coping skill.
A new study has shown that 75% of us have used video games to escape from the stress of the COVID-19 pandemic. We have used it as a therapy, way to meet new friends, keep in touch with old friends, even finding a sense of nostalgia.
Interesting to note, those who are working at home, have to be on phone conference calls or zoom conference calls have a tendency of playing video game. Tsk,tsk, tsk. That number has gone up to 30% of us.
But wait there are more places at you may have been playing your game:

- At the dinner table – 38%
During a video call with friends/family – 36%- During a work conference call – 30%
