A 42-year old man was arrested after Lincoln Police say he ran into a house near 51st and Adams around 2:00 Tuesday morning. Officers were called there on the report of three people fighting in the front yard of the home
LPD says as officers arrived they saw a Hyundai Santa Fe driving down the alley. The vehicle stopped after the driver saw the cruiser. A check of the license plate found the vehicle was reported stolen in Lincoln on November 18th.
They residents came out and told officers a man ran through their back door and into the basement. Police were determined Brian Ising of Lincoln had two active arrest warrants. They found Ising hiding in a utility closet in the basement and he claimed to be armed with a knife.
Police used pepper spray and a police service dog to take him into custody. He was taken by LFR to a hospital were he was medically cleared and then taken to jail. He was booked on two arrest warrants along with theft by receiving stolen property, resisting arrest and possession of a controlled substance.
