Lincoln Police say an man has died following a two vehicle crash just north of 84th and Adams around 8:30 Saturday morning. LPD Captain Todd Kocian says a Buick Century was eastbound on Market Drive, went through the intersection and was struck by a northbound car.
“The driver of the Buick, 87-year-old John Rine of Lincoln, was initially transported to the hospital in critical condition,” Kocian says. Rine died around 10:00 p.m. An Omaha woman who driving the Honda Accord was not seriously hurt.
Police are still investigating the cause of the crash.
