Lincoln Police responded to a crash at 33rd and Huntington just before 8:00 Wednesday night. “Involving a 2012 Chevy Equinox and a pedestrian, later determined to be riding a motorized scooter,” says LPD Captain Duane Winkler.
He tells KLIN News the Equinox was northbound on 33rd Street when it collided with the scooter, which was westbound across N. 33rd just north of Huntington Street. Winkler says the 28-year-old man on the scooter was taken to the hospital where he is in critical but stable condition.
