A 25-year old man was arrested just before midnight Tuesday after causing a disturbance in the drive-thru of the D’Leons near 27th and Dudley.  Captain Todd Kocian says a customer reported  that Eric Hernandez rushed up to his vehicle while placing an order then chased his vehicle as he drove away.

“Another witness said Hernandez was walking away with a knife in his hand, but later reported it was just a shiny object,” Kocian says.  Officers arrived and found Hernandez in the alley. “Hernandez refused to obey officers’ commands and continued reaching in his pockets.  A struggle ensued when Hernandez attempted to enter a vehicle and a taser was deployed.”

Hernandez was arrested for disturbing the peace, obstructing a police officer and resisting arrest.
