The Lincoln First Responders Foundation was on the receiving end of a big check Thursday afternoon. Inside the Speedway Museum of Speed, members of the Capitol City Ford and Mustang Club turned over proceeds from their 43rd annual Al Makes Car and Truck show on September 8.
“As a result of the hard work of 60 or 70 members of our club and the support of the many sponsors, we were able to raise $14,700.” The club raised $12,000 in 2023, the first year they partnered with the foundation.
There were more than 200 cars and trucks of all makes and models at the show. The mission of the First Responders Foundation Lincoln Chapter is to serve and honor all our First Responders, Veterans and their families and enhance public safety.
