This Summer’s Next Shortage

Here we go again. Another item that is going to be flying off the shelves.  We have already seen toilet paper, Clorox wipes, chicken, beef, etc. missing when we need them.

As we head to July 4th, we can now add Fireworks to that list.

Because the past year has us recalling all the cancelled fireworks displays, people are running out to have their own display, in case it happens again.

Then we find out that we have a delay on everything coming from China (which is where we get a ton of fireworks). As you may have guessed, the supply and demand model is kicking in. Lower supplies = higher prices. But that isn’t stopping people from raiding the shelves already and having what’s left being shipped to them (where it is legal).

So WHERE you can find fireworks, it is being said by many firework distributors, expect a 10 to 20% increase in prices.
