Invite A Llama Or Goat To Your Next Zoom Meeting

By News Apr 16, 2020 | 9:07 AM

I think we have changed what a “hold my beer” moment looks like. Since we are sheltering-in-place and working from home has become common place. Lord knows we have talked ad-nauseum about Zoom meetings. Mistakes that are made on Zoom, games to play on Zoom…and now…hiring a llama or goat for your meeting is something we may see more of.

For under $100 you can invite a llama or a goat to your meeting.

The idea is the brain child of a place called Sweet Farm that is an animal sanctuary in Silicon Valley, CA. They developed the idea and started marketing a new company called Goat2Meeting. This isn’t meant to be just some kind of publicity stunt, but rather a way to raise money for her farm to recover from COVID-19 shutdown.

So far they have had over 300 requests. At $100 a show, that’s a nice chunk of change…and it is just getting started. While you COULD have a llama or goat, you can also choose from chickens, sheep, pigs, cows and turkeys, as well.

Before social distancing, there used to be equine meetings. So, why not bring in a farm animal to the meeting?
