No one was injured after a car slammed into the side of a house near 30th and Fair Street Tuesday afternoon. Sergeant Tyler Cooper says a blue Mustang was traveling eastbound down Fair Street just before 4:00.
“The driver says he lost control of the vehicle, left the roadway and struck the house.” Cooper says they are still trying to determine was caused the car to leave the road but tells KLIN News the driver had just purchased it.
Cooper says due to structural damage at least five residents of the home will have to find a somewhere to temporarily stay.
